2010 Safety Award
The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) annually recognizes companies whose employees are committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Gold, silver and bronze awards are given to individual plants based on safety performance. Recently, Central Pre-Mix's Sullivan Road Plant in Spokane, Washington received the NRMCA's Excellence in Safety - Gold Level award for completing the 2009 season with zero Department of Transportation reportable accidents and zero Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordable injuries or illnesses. Congratulations to the drivers and batch plant operators assigned to these facilities.
